Imported material is mixed with indigenous produce and is being traded at ₹480 a kg and below and that in turn has pulled down the spot prices here on Tuesday, trade sources told Business Line .
On the terminal market 10 tonnes of high range mix were traded at ₹480 a kg, they claimed.
Spot prices fell by ₹200 a quintal to close at ₹48,000 (ungarbled) and ₹50,000 (garbled) a quintal.
Indian export prices were at $8,050 a tonne c&f for Europe and $8,300 a tonne cf& for the US.
