With limited buying and bearish futures, edible oils ruled weak on Wednesday. Malaysian palm oil and Chicago soya oil futures were in the red for the third consecutive day, keeping domestic prices under pressure.
On the BCE, imported palmolein and soya oil declined by ₹2 and ₹5 per 10 kg each. Cotton and rapeseed oil lost ₹5 and ₹10 each. Groundnut oil rose by ₹10. Local refineries kept their rates steady. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin rose to ₹1,430 (1,410) and loose (10 kg) increased to ₹900 (885).
