Weak futures drag edible oils

Sentiment on edible oils market remained slightly weak on the back of weak futures amid lack of demand. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, barring palmolein which was up by ₹1, all other oils were unchanged. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹492, super palmolein at ₹515, soyabean refined oil ₹577. Ruchi traded palmolein for ₹493, soyabean refined oil ₹575 and sunflower refined oil ₹627. Allana’s rates: palmolein ₹495, super palmolein ₹520, soyabean refined oil ₹576 and sunflower oil ₹630. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin was at ₹1,540 (1,540) and loose (10 kg) ₹990 (980). BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 940 (940), soya refined oil 575 (575), sunflower exp. ref. 575 (575), sunflower ref. 625 (625), rapeseed ref. oil 690 (690), rapeseed exp. ref. 660 (660), cottonseed ref. oil 565 (565) and palmolein 489 (488).
