Gold prices rose by Rs 73 to Rs 27,001 per 10 grams in futures trading on Tuesday as speculators enlarged their positions on hopes of a rise in demand due to the festival season.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in February rose by Rs 73, or 0.27 per cent, to Rs 27,001 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 433 lots.
