PPFAS Mutual Fund, promoted by Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Pvt Ltd, has changed the name of its flagship scheme PPFAS Long Term Value Fund to Parag Parikh Long Term Value Fund.
The change will take effect from Friday, September 16, 2016, the fund house said in a statement.
The long term value fund is the only scheme that the fund house offers. It is a diversified equity oriented scheme with the ability to invest in stocks of large and small companies across sectors, both, in India and abroad.
Besides this, it can also participate in special situations or arbitrage opportunities as and when they arise.
As on August 31, 2016, the fund has managed assets of Rs 687.45 crore, out of which 12.81 per cent is invested by the promoter group, management and employees of the fund house.
