Infrastructure developer Ashoka Buildcon Ltd on Monday reported a 23.56 per cent dip in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, to Rs 16.38 crore.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 21.43 crore for the corresponding period last year, Ashoka Buildcon said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
However, total income of the company grew to Rs 204.19 crore in the October-December quarter from Rs 165.01 crore in the same period a year-ago, it added.
Shares of the company were being quoted at Rs 255.20 in early trade on the BSE today, down 0.47 per cent from the previous close.
