Asian shares were trading lower on Friday taking cues from overnight losses in the US stocks, which slipped on Thursday as soft retail sales and a sharp rise in the dollar left investors worried ahead of December jobs report today.
Hong Kong index Hang Seng was down 0.02 per cent at 23,781.29, Japan’s Nikkei down 0.15 per cent at 10,514.37, Korea Composite Stock Price Index down 0.05 per cent at 2,076.50 and Singapore’s Straits Times Index was down 0.39 per cent at 3,266.77 points.
