Auto stocks Hero MotoCorp and Tata Motors revved up gains by the close on the BSE on Wednesday. At 3.35 pm. Hero MotoCorp emerged the top gainer on the bourse. It was quoting at ₹2,209.70, up 3.01 per cent on its previous close of ₹2,145.20.
ONGC extended its morning gains to trade at ₹326.20, up 1.94 per cent on its previous close of ₹320.
Tata Motors gained 1.55 per cent to trade at ₹415.50 as against ₹409.15 at close yesterday.
Dr Reddy’s Labs trimmed some of its gains by close. It was up 1.55 per cent at ₹2,707.90. The stock had closed Tuesday’s session at ₹2,666.55.
HDFC was trading up 1.53 per cent at ₹900.90. The stock finished Tuesday’s session at ₹887.35.
