Bharti Airtel extended its morning gains on the BSE ahead of the close on Friday. At 3.10 pm it was quoting at ₹372.75. This represented a 1.83 per cent gain on its previous close at ₹366.05.
Dr Reddy’s Labs made further ground to hold gains of 0.95 per cent at ₹2,782. The stock had ended Thursday’s session at ₹2,755.95.
ITC gained 0.53 per cent to trade at ₹347.80. The stock had closed yesterday's session at ₹345.95.
IT stock TCS edged lower towards the close. It held gains of 0.30 per cent at ₹2,477.60. The stock had closed the previous session at ₹2,470.20.
Cipla gained 0.30 per cent to trade at ₹436.40 as against its overnight close at ₹435.10.
