Birla Sun Life AMC offers new fund

Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Ltd (BSLAMC) has announced the launch of a five-year close-ended capital protection fund - Capital Protection Oriented Fund Series 5. The new fund offer will be open for subscription till March 25.

The scheme has a tenor of 832 days and is oriented towards protection of the invested money by investing into high quality bonds (debt) till the end of tenure and exploring capital growth prospect by investing a part of the capital for equity market exposure, said a release from the company.

The fund will be available in the growth option only. The minimum application amount is Rs 5,000 and multiples of Rs 10 thereafter. The scheme is benchmarked against the Crisil Balanced Fund Index and will be listed on the stock exchange.
