Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) index remained sluggish during the week and lost ground.
The CSE-40 was down 107.46 points during the week. The local bourse was down 38.02 points in the previous week.
The index opened at 7030.36 points and during the week it slipped ground and finally ended at week’s low of 6922.90.
Turnover remained normal during the week.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 309.40. IT major Infosys Technologies was higher at Rs 2805.30 at end of the week. State Bank of India rate gained to Rs 2489.50.
Tata Steel ended lower at Rs 407, Vindus Holding was at Rs 307.40 at end of the week. Twenty First century was at Rs 327.50.
