The Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) stayed firm with 85.16 points gain during the week on buying support. The local bourse had moved down marginally by 4.01 points in the previous week.
The CSE-40 index opened at 7,543.84 points and after touching an intra-week low of 7,425.51, closed at 7,629.
BHEL ended the week at Rs 2,060.05, while Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307. Infosys Technologies ended at Rs 2,918.25, ONGC Rs 302.40, SBI Rs 2,868 and Tata Steel at Rs 628.95 at the end of the trading week.
Tata Motors ended at Rs 1,238 and Titan Industries at Rs 4,033. Vindus Holding was at Rs 304.25 at the end of the trading session.
