IRB Infrastructure Developers has informed the exchanges that Mhaiskar Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, its wholly owned subsidiary, has executed a concession agreement with MSRDC for operation and maintenance of Yashwantrao Chavan Expressway and Mumbai Pune section of NH-4. Along with it, it will also execute works on the Mumbai Pune section of NH-4, on DBFOT basis with toll rights in Maharashtra. The cost of the project is estimated at about ₹1,687 crore, including ₹1,000 crore as upfront premium to MSRDC. Shares of IRB Infrastructure jumped 1.8 per cent at ₹232.60 on the NSE.

Srinivasa Hatcheries has informed the BSE that operations at two of the company’s units near Visakhapatnam have been disrupted and the properties have suffered substantial damage on account of the severe cyclonic storm Hudhud on October 12. The company's other units too suffered damage, but details regarding the nature and extent of damage could not be ascertained as communications with that part of the state have been completely paralysed, the company said. All the assets except livestock have been covered by insurance. Efforts are being made to restore normalcy in operations at the units. Shares of Srinivasa Hatcheries crashed 8.7 per cent at ₹71.15 on the BSE.

The Management Committee of the Board of Directors of Gujarat NRE Coke on Monday considered and approved the allotment of 2.50 crore warrants of ₹10 each at a premium of ₹2 a share to promoter group entities. The allotment follows the resolution passed by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting. Shares of Gujarat NRE Coke edged down 1.8 per cent at ₹8 on the NSE.
