NMDC Ltd has informed the BSE that the Director, Ministry of Steel, Government of India vide its D.O. letter dated October 09, 2014, has communicated that S Thiagarajan, Director (Finance), NMDC, may be assigned the current charge of the post of Director (Finance), NMDC, for a period of one month beyond October 08, 2014 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Prakash Industries, in a press release, has informed BSE that it will redeem Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) worth $17.1 million on October 17, 2014. Earlier in October 2009, the company had raised $50 million through issue of FCCBs to foreign institutional investors (FIIs), of which FCCBs worth 32.9 million were converted into equity shares and the balance $17.1 million was due for redemption on October 17, 2014, the release added.
Excel Infoways has informed the BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on October 22, to consider and approve the following: (1) The unaudited financial results of the company for the half year ended September 30, 2014, (2) To shift the Construction / Real Estate / Infra Business Activity Object Clauses from the Other Object Clauses to the Main Object Clauses in the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company, and (3) To change the name of the company. As a result, in terms of the company’s Code of Conduct for Prohibition of Insider Trading, the trading window will remain closed from October 14, 2014 till October 24, 2014 (both days inclusive).
