The current whole-time members — Mr M.S. Sahoo and Mr K.M. Abraham — will be leaving SEBI as their three-year term expires this July.
The interviews will be conducted at the SEBI office by the sub-committee of the search committee appointed by the government of India on July 1.
In the reckoning are an ex-Chairman of a public sector bank, a bureaucrat from the department of banking, a senior general insurance official and an ex-bureaucrat from the Maharashtra cadre, among others, said sources.
