Metal sector shares maintained their firm undertone on the NSE on Tuesday. At 3.15 pm Jindal Steel had built up gains of 7.12 per cent. The stock was trading at ₹145.15 as against ₹135.50 at close yesterday.
DLF shot up 5.21 per cent to trade at ₹121.15. The scrip was trading at ₹115.15 at close on Monday.
GAIL (India) held firm to trade at ₹481.45. This represented a gain of 4.89 per cent on its previous close at ₹459.
Sesa Sterlite came off a tad to hold gains of 4.63 per cent at ₹248.65. The stock had ended Monday’s session at ₹237.65.
BHEL made further ground to hold gains of 4.43 per cent at ₹238.15. The scrip was quoting at ₹228.05 at the finish yesterday.
