IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd has emerged as the lowest bidder for the four laning of Kiratpur to Ner-Chowk Section of NH-21 in Himachal Pradesh to be executed as BOT (Toll) on DBFOT pattern under NHDP Phase – III. The project is on toll basis with a concession period of 28 years including construction period of 3 years and the estimated cost of the project is Rs. 1,818.47 crore. The company had quoted a grant of Rs. 134.57 crore for project floated by NHAI.
Indo Rama Synthetics (India) Ltd, and Indorama Ventures Public Company Ltd, Thailand’s largest polyester producer, have signed a MoU to build in India a modern integrated facility having PTA, PET and PSF plants in the presence of the visiting Prime Minister of Thailand. The project would involve an investment of $ 700 million.
Regency Ceramics Ltd has said that at its plant at Yanam today workers set fire to the plant premises causing damage/destruction to important equipments and also beat up staff and other co- workers. The exact damage and loss to property are yet to be ascertained.
