Norges Bank, the Central Bank of Norway, has increased its stake in Lanco Infratech Ltd, by 0.42 per cent, by acquiring additional shares through market purchases and taking its stake up to 7.19 per cent in the company.
According to a statement made to the stock exchanges, Norges Bank has acquired about one crore shares, amounting to about 0.42 per cent of the company equity earlier this month, thereby taking its stake up to 7.19 per cent of the company equity.
Meanwhile, the company promoter-shareholder, Mr Sridhar Lagadpati, has informed that he has partially decreased his holding in the company during March.
Current holdings
According to the the filings made to the stock exchanges, as of December 2010 (numbers for which are available), the promoter and promoter group of shareholders currently hold about 67.95 per cent of the total equity of the company in the diversified infrastructure entity.
About 32.5 per cent equity held by the public, this includes 23.40 per cent by institutional holders, foreign institutions 19.84 per cent, non-institutions hold about 8.65 per cent followed by others.
The company scrip closed the day's trade higher at Rs 38.5 per cent against previous close of Rs 36.40.
