Brooks Laboratories closed about nearly 40 per cent lower compared with its issue price, after swinging wildly on its listing on Monday.
Brooks Laboratories, a pharmaceutical company in the CRAMS (contract research and manufacturing services) space listed on the bourses today at Rs 110 to a share (BSE) and Rs 100 to a share (NSE) against the issue price of Rs 100.
On the BSE, the scrip touched an intraday high of Rs 131.1 and a low of Rs 57.75 before closing at Rs 60.2. On the NSE, the scrip touched a high of Rs 131.6 and a low of Rs 58.15 to a share before closing at Rs 61.9.Volume on the NSE was 4.4 crore shares amounting to Rs 398 crore while volume on the BSE was three crores worth Rs 271.6 crore.
