Hindustan Zinc : After registering all-time high at Rs 146, the stock has turned weak. The overall outlook remains positive for Hindustan Zinc as long as it stays above Rs 102. The stock finds an immediate resistance at Rs 142 and support at Rs 130.

F&O pointers: The stock added fresh short positions on Friday. Options are not active.

Strategy: Exit from Hindustan Zinc and re-enter once it takes a decisive uptrend.

I am holding Mini Nifty April futures long position entered at 5880. Please tell me the stop-loss and target . – Shah

Nifty : Last week momentum turned the outlook bullish for Nifty. It now finds resistance at 6024 and at 6131. The Nifty finds crucial support at 5487. Only a close below that level would negate the current bullish outlook.

F&O pointers: Nifty witnessed a rollover of 71 per cent, which is higher than last month. Most of the rollover was on the long side. Implied volatility has stabilised at 20-22 level and activity in call options has scattered till 6100 strike. Heavy accumulation in open interest put options suggests emergence of put writers. All these point a positive bias.

Strategy: Hold your long position with a stop loss at 5725.

NOTE: The analysis and opinion expressed in this column are based on F&O data available at this point of time and on technical analysis based on past price movements. There is risk of loss in trading.
