Prism Partners & Advocates has merged with Economic Laws Practice (ELP) to build expertise for capital markets practice. Mr P.R. Ramesh and Mr Yogesh Chande, securities lawyers from Prism Partners & Advocates, have been appointed to develop ELP's Capital Markets practice.
Mr P.R. Ramesh, a former senior regulator with SEBI, has joined ELP as Senior Consultant and Mr Yogesh Chande, previously with National Stock Exchange, has joined the firm as Consultant.
“We did not have a strong-focussed capital markets practice. By this appointment, we hope to service existing clients as well as build new clients in this space. We will cater to IPO advisory, registration of FIIs, etc. Most of the advisory will be SEBI related,” said Mr Suhail Nathani, Partner, ELP.
