Religare Capital Markets Limited (RCML), the Investment Banking arm of Religare Enterprises Limited (REL), on Wednesday said it has appointed Mr John Sturmey as its Global Head of Equity Capital Markets.
Mr Sturmey, who will be based in RCML’s Hong Kong office, has over 15 years of investment banking experience, gained mostly at UBS. He was most recently Head of Global Capital Markets - Asia at UBS.
"John's track record and strong institutional relationships will help address the increasing requirements of our emerging markets corporate clients as we continue to expand globally”, Mr Sutha Kandiah, Global Head of Investment Banking, RCML said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Religare Securities Limited (RSL), a wholly owned subsidiary and the broking arm of REL, today announced the appointment of Mr Manish Shah as Head of its Priority Clients Group (PCG).
Prior to this appointment, Mr Manish was Co-Head of Retail Broking and Associate Director at Motilal Oswal Securities Ltd.
