The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) has adjourned the hearing in the SEBI versus Price Waterhouse (PW) case on the Satyam episode to March 15.
The adjournment was done on the following counts:
The tribunal asked SEBI to give Price Waterhouse a fair trial by allowing them to cross examine all witnesses without insisting on reasons for doing so.
SEBI has also been directed to make available all documents related to the case for inspection. The SEBI counsel has been asked to come back to SAT on March 15 after getting the necessary brief on cross examination of witnesses.
