Auto stocks were in the limelight on the BSE after trading resumed on the bourse in the post-lunch session. The morning session was truncated on account of a technical hitch.
At 2.35 pm Tata Motors was the top gainer, quoting at ₹469.30, up 3.14 per cent on its previous close of ₹455.
Sun Pharma Industries rose 1.95 per cent at ₹707.50. The stock had closed yesterday’s session at ₹693.95.
M&M drove up gains of 1.80 per cent at ₹1,240.70 in late session. The auto maker was quoting at ₹1,218.75 at close on Wednesday.
Wipro was quoting at ₹551.10 as against ₹541.65 at close yesterday. This represented a gain of 1.74 per cent.
Sesa Sterlite spiked up 1.10 per cent at ₹312.80. The share had ended the previous session at ₹309.40.
