US stocks closed the session lower on Tuesday as investors were concerned over the Japan’s nuclear crisis and unrest in the Middle East and North Africa.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell 17.9 points or 0.15 per cent to 12,018.63. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 4.61 points or 0.36 per cent at 1,293.77. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 8.22 points or 0.31 per cent to 2,683.87.
