US stocks ended the session higher on Tuesday. The Dow Jones industrial average jumped 50.55 points or 0.43 per cent to 11,837.93. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index was up 1.78 points or 0.14 per cent at 1,295.02. The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 10.55 points or 0.38 per cent to 2,765.85.
