US stocks fell on Tuesday as oil shares' gains failed to offset lingering concerns about slow growth.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell 25.05 points or 0.2 per cent to 12,357.42. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 1.09 points or 0.08 per cent at 1,316.28. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 12.74 points or 0.46 per cent to 2,746.16.
