Amara Raja Batteries Limited has hit a new high today during the day’s trade at BSE quoting at Rs 869, up Rs 24.95 about 3 per cent.
The Hyderabad-based batteries major had a previous day’s close of Rs 844.35 and a high of Rs 874.
During the quarter gone by, the company had commissioned new expansion projects and is expected to ring in strong numbers across its product portfolio for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015.
