The board of APL Apollo Tubes has promoted Arun Agarwal from Head of South to Chief Operating Officer. Agarwal, who is currently is looking after the complete operations of the southern region, will be leading operations including sales, purchase and production across India, the company said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the company also said the infusion of ₹97 crore by a promoter group entity has been concluded through a preferential allotment of equity (four lakh shares at ₹1,800 a share) and convertible warrants (five lakh warrants at ₹2,000 apiece).
Shares of APL Apollo jumped 3.12 per cent at ₹1,502 on the BSE.
