Apollo Tyres has informed the BSE that production at the company’s plant in Oragadam, Tamil Nadu, has been disrupted due to flooding caused by the heavy rains in Chennai. Production was disrupted till December 2, 2015. Loss of production due to this natural calamity is estimated at about 450 MT. However, the company has adequate insurance cover, it said.
