Asian stocks rose on Friday taking cues from overnight gains in the Wall Street.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 jumped 71.87 points or 0.76 per cent to 9,506.88. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng surged 212.19 points or 0.93 per cent to 23,127.47. Singapore’s Straits Times gained 28.85 points or 0.95 per cent to 3,071.88. South Korea’s Kospi was up 17.36 points or 0.85 per cent at 2,054.14.
Australia’s S&P/Asx 200 rose 44.4 points or 0.94 per cent to 4,744. China’s Shanghai Composite climbed 31.43 points or 1.07 per cent to 2,978.14. Taiwan’s Taiex rose 49.51 points or 0.58 per cent to 8,625.91.
