Asian shares were trading higher on Tuesday taking cues from overnight gains in the Wall Street.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 101.99 points or 0.96 per cent to 10,726.08. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was down 11.06 points or 0.05 per cent at 23,326.96. Singapore’s Straits Times gained 43.9 points or 1.46 per cent to 3,054.41.
Australia’s S&P/Asx 200 was up 1.7 points or 0.04 per cent at 4,833.40. China’s Shanghai Composite rose 18.51 points or 0.64 per cent to 2,923.56. Taiwan’s Taiex jumped 107.44 points or 1.25 per cent to 8,707.09.
