Wednesday will witness two companies' shares - Asian Paints and Can Fin Homes - turning ex-dividend.
While Asian Paints is rewarding its sharesholders with a payout of ₹4.30 (face value ₹1), Can Fin Homes is paying ₹7 (face value ₹10). Over 1.4 lakh individual investors in Asian Paints and around 24,000 in Can Fin Homes will receive the dividend.
But, those buying the shares of these firms from now on will not be eligible for the dividend payout.
