The board of directors of Bajaj Electricals will consider a proposal to acquire the manufacturing business of Hind Lamps, an unlisted company. The latter is engaged in the business of manufacturing glass bulbs, HID bulbs and aluminium caps. Hind Lamps has been declared a sick industrial unit by the BIFR. Hind Lamps has units at Shikohabad in UP and Parwanoo in Himachal Pradesh. Analysts will follow the deal closely.
