Bayer CropScience shares will remain active at the bourses, as its board is meeting on Wednesday to consider a proposal for buyback of the company’s shares. The board will also constitute a buyback committee and appoint intermediaries. Market participants will be keen to know the size and price. Currently, FIIs and DIIs hold 8.75 per cent and 10.66 per cent stake respectively, in Bayer CropScience, while about 19,900 small investors own 6.89 per cent stake.
