Coal India extended its morning gains to stay ahead of the pack on the BSE near the close on Tuesday. At 3.10 pm the share was trading at Rs 433.50, up 3.2 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 420.05.
Infosys made headway in the afternoon session to notch up gains of 2.36 per cent at Rs 972.45. The scrip had closed the overnight session at Rs 950.05.
Hind Unilever also joined the uptrend, gaining 1.87 per cent to quote at Rs 927.15. The scrip had closed Monday’s session at Rs 910.10.
Lupin also built on its morning gains at Rs 1,917.60. This represented a gain of 1.43 per cent on its previous close at Rs 1,890.65.
Hero MotoCorp edged up further to hold gains of 1.41 per cent at Rs 2,637.20. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 2,600.65.
