Coal India moved up 1.62 per cent to trade at Rs 389.80 in the morning session on Wednesday. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 383.60.
HDFC built up gains of 1.12 per cent at Rs 1,216 as against Rs 1,202.50 on Tuesday evening.
Wipro moved up 1.10 per cent to quote at Rs 554.45. The share had ended the overnight session at Rs 548.40.
Reliance Industries gained 1.09 per cent to trade at Rs 908.50 as against Rs 898.70 at close last evening.
NTPC was up 0.65 per cent at Rs 138.85. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 137.95.
