Shares of Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd rise as much as 8.8 per cent to ₹242.9 , marking their biggest intraday per cent gain since February 13.
At 1.15 pm, the stocks of Coffee Day Enterprises were trading 4.38 per cent higher at ₹233.80
US-based beverage maker Coca-Cola is in exclusive talks to pick up a significant stake in Cafe Coffee Day (CCD), media reported. CCD did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment.
Coca-Cola said “news is absolutely speculative in nature” and did not comment any further. Shares of Coffee Day Enterprises down 20 per cent this year, as of last close.
