Goa Carbon on Monday informed the exchanges that operations at the company’s St. Jose De Areal Salcete plant (Goa) have commenced from Sunday. The company in May had announced the suspension of production on account of non-availability of raw material. The stock price of the calcined petroleum coke-producer edged up 0.2 per cent at ₹87.85 on the NSE.
IL&FS Transportation Networks has informed the BSE that following four-laning of the Warora Chandrapur Ballarpur Bamni Road in Maharashtra, commercial operations have begun from December 26. The project is on toll basis with a concession period of 30 years (including three years of construction period). The company has 35 per cent equity stake in the project. Shares of IL&FS Transportation closed at ₹186.20, up 7.1 per cent on the NSE.
The board of directors of Indo Borax & Chemicals has approved to increase the existing production capacity of boron products (boric acid/borax) by 5,600 tonnes per annum at its Pithampur plant in Madhya Pradesh. With this expansion, installed production capacity will increase by 38.89 per cent from the existing 14,400 tonnes per annum to 20,000 tonnes per annum. The total cost of the project is estimated at ₹7 crore, which will be financed from internal accruals. The stock of Indo Borax jumped 4.8 per cent at ₹230 on the BSE.
