Talwalkars Better Value Fitness has informed the exchanges that the company has opened a qualified institutional placement issue on June 17 (Wednesday). Recently, the shareholders of the company had approved a proposal to raise funds not exceeding ₹150 crore. The stock of Talwalkars Better Value closed at ₹312.05, up 1.6 per cent on the NSE.
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has informed the exchanges that the operations committee of its board of directors has allotted 17,803 equity shares to the shareholders of Glenmark Generics. Four equity shares of ₹1 each of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals were allotted for every five equity shares of ₹10 each held in Glenmark Generics following amalgamation of the latter with the former. Shares of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals surged about 5 per cent at ₹967.95 on the NSE.
NTPC has informed the exchanges that it has signed an agreement with the Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation (JKSPDCL) to promote a joint venture company with 67:33 equity participation for undertaking exploration, development and operation of the jointly-allocated Kudanali-Luburi Coal Block at Odisha by the Ministry of Coal. Shares of NTPC slipped 0.5 per cent at ₹136.95 on the BSE.
