Xpro India has informed the exchanges that it entered into an agreement on Friday for the sale of a portion of land at No. 2, Industrial Area, NIT, Faridabad, for ₹5 crore. The size of the land is 3,697 square yards and the agreement is with Vipal Mehra & others (who do not belong to and have no connection whatsoever with the promoter/ promoter group/ group companies). The expected date of completion of sale of the land is December 31, 2016 (subject to necessary approvals). The transaction does not fall within the definition of related-party transactions. The stock slipped 0.28 per cent at ₹52.5 on the BSE.

Fortis Healthcare has agreed to provide corporate guarantee for a term loan of SGD165 million (over ₹800 crore) that its subsidiary Fortis Healthcare International is taking from a consortium of bankers. “One of the company’s wholly-owned subsidiaries... Fortis Healthcare International, incorporated in Mauritius on October 7, 2016 has agreed to accept a term loan of SGD165 million from Consortium of Bankers (Singapore),” Fortis Healthcare said on Friday in a BSE filing. Fortis Healthcare, being the holding company, has agreed to provide corporate guarantee for the credit facility, it added. Shares of Fortis Healthcare closed 0.52 per cent higher at ₹172.40 on the BSE.

Powergrid Vizag Transmission , a wholly-owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India successfully completed the element Srikakulam-Vemagiri 765 kV D/c line on September 30. The other element of the project Khammam-Nagarjunasagar 400kV D/C was completed during the last financial year. Shares of Power Grid edged down 0.5 per cent at ₹177 on the BSE.
