Kalpataru Power Transmission on Monday said that it has secured new orders/notification of award worth ₹1,057 crore. In a disclosure to the stock exchanges, the global EPC player in the power and infrastructure contracting sector, said the company has secured two orders worth ₹913 crore for design, supply and construction of 500 kV and 225/90 kV transmission lines in Thailand and Africa. Besides, it has got an order for pipeline installation and associated terminal works of Kochi Salem Pipeline Pvt Ltd for ₹144 crore. KSPPL is a 50:50 joint venture of Bharat Petroleum Corp and Indian Oil Corp. Shares of Kalpataru, which jumped to ₹376, intra-day, however, fell to close at ₹361.75, down 1.35 per cent over the previous day's close on the NSE.

Drug firm Marksans Pharma has received Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the US health regulator for its Goa facility. In a notice to the exchanges, the company said it has received EIR from the USFDA after inspection of its Goa facility from April 3-7. As per the USFDA, after the completion of an inspection of a facility, an EIR is issued to a company detailing inspectional findings. Shares of Marksans Pharma gained 2 per cent at ₹48.9 on the NSE.

Viceroy Hotels on Monday informed the exchanges that it has reduced the debt of International Asset Reconstruction Company (IARC) through sale of property. IARC has sold the property belonging to Viceroy Hotels, located at 36-199, Himayath Nagar, Hyderabad, to an extent of 1,400 square yards to Secunderabad Hotels. The disposal of the property has reduced the debt of IARC by ₹30.82 crore, it said. The stock jumped 3.9 per cent at ₹18.75 on the NSE.
