The board of directors of Castrol India will meet on November 7 to consider and approve the un-audited financial results of the company for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2017. Besides, the board will also consider issuing bonus shares. If board approves, it would be the third bonus issue from the company. Earlier in 2010 and 2012, Castrol declared bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1. Shares of Castrol India jumped 3.4 per cent to ₹399.45 on the NSE.
Majesco on Thursday announced a partnership with Denim, creator of the mobile and social media marketing platform. Denim is the first to integrate with Majesco’s Digital1st EcoExchange. Integration of the Denim platform with Majesco Digital1st EcoExchange and Majesco Distribution Management will enhance insurance companies’ ability to effectively connect social media marketing campaigns with agents to drive consumer engagement, lead generation, and conversion, it said in a statement to the stock exchanges. Shares of Majesco closed at ₹528.70, down 2.5 per cent on the BSE.
Mawana Sugars on Thursday informed the exchanges that it has commenced its crushing operations for the season 2017-18 in Mawana Sugars Works and Nanglamal Sugar Complex units. Shares of Mawana Sugars edged up two per cent at ₹120.30 on the NSE.
