Delta Corp on Wednesday informed the exchanges that HDFC Trustee, through various schemes, has reduced its stake in the company by 2.08 percentage points to 4.55 per cent. In a disclosure to the stock exchanges, the company said HDFC Capital Builder, HDFC Prudence, HDFC Taxsaver and HDFC Mid-Cap Opportunities funds on Tuesday sold 55.55 lakh shares of Delta Corp in the open market. Post selling, HDFC AMC’s stake has come down to 4.55 per cent from 6.64 per cent. However, shares of Delta Corp surged 5.55 per cent at ₹238.65 on the BSE.
