Shares of automobile manufacturer Eicher Motors Ltd rose as much as 4.8 per cent on Monday, the highest since December 12. The company posted a 42 per cent jump in December motorcycle sales on Sunday.
It is the biggest intraday percentage gain since November 29.
At about 9.40 am, the stock was up 2.95 per cent or Rs 643.95 at Rs 22,456.05.
