EID-Parry sells stake in Coromandel Intl
EID Parry India Ltd has sold 58.5 lakh shares of Coromandel International Ltd in the open market at ₹629.191 a share on Tuesday. Post the sale, EID-Parry holds 17.13 crore shares, representing 58.48 per cent of the paid-up capital of Coromandel International. The proceeds of sale will be used to bring down the debt of the company, it said in a statement to the stock exchanges. Shares of EID-Parry closed at ₹212.75, down 1.64 per cent, on the BSE while those of Coromandel International slipped 1.72 per cent at ₹640.05.
