Emkay Global Financial Services has appointed Sunil Tirumalai as Head of Research and Equity Strategy. Sunil will further broaden and deepen the research methodology by bringing in best global practices in equity research, the company said in a release.
Tirumalai comes with 13 years of experience in ‘Sell Side’ research and most recently served as a Director at the India research unit of Credit Suisse. Sunil, an alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad with a bachelor’s degree in technology from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, apart from overseeing all the sector model portfolios, will express his strategy view through the Nifty-benchmarked Emkay Alpha Portfolio.
