Cox & Kings-owned Meininger Hotels has signed an agreement with Beni Stabili SIIQ to set up a 491-bed hotel in Milan, Italy. In a post market disclosure to the exchanges, it said the hotel, the group’s second in Italy, will be opened in early 2018 and will have 131 rooms. Meininger, a step-down subsidiary of Prometheon Holdings UK, part of Cox & Kings, currently operates 16 hotels in Europe. It will also open a hotel in Rome next year.
