Steel shares, such as SAIL, Tata Steel and Jindal Steel, may see market attention as China’s record steel shipments will shrink next year as overseas demand slows and global trade friction increases. The China Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute has said net steel exports from China will contract 8 per cent to 90 million tonnes. Global steel makers, including from India, have been protesting cheap suppy from China.
