The board of directors of Greenply Industries on Monday discussed and approved a plan to start a new business venture -- trading in wallpapers of different categories. The wallpapers will be sourced from various overseas suppliers and marketed in India, said the company in a notification to the exchanges. Greenply Industries, an interior infrastructure company, is a leading manufacturer of plywood and block boards, flush doors and wood floors. Shares of Greenply Industries gained 1.6 per cent at ₹1,099.85 on the NSE.
